Inspection and Testing after Crane Installation

1. No-load running of the crane should meet the following requirements:
A. The direction of the control mechanism should be consistent with the running direction of each mechanism of the crane;
B. When the hook is lowered to the lower limit, there should be at least 3 turns of steel rope on the drum;
C. The anti-collision device and damping device of the crane should function reliably.
2. No-load test of the crane should meet the requirements as follows:
(1) First start the lifting mechanism to carry out no-load lifting operations, and let the trolley make a round trip throughout its stroke; there are no anomalies;
(2) Make the trolley stop at a half of the girder, gradually increase the load and carry out trial lifting; have the trolley make several round trips throughout its stroke on the bridge;
(3) Make the trolley stop at a half of the girder, gradually lift a weight 1.25 times the rated capacity and remain at a height 100 to 200 mm from the industrial foundation on the ground for at least 10 min; there is no occurrence of instability.
3. Heavy-load test run of the crane should comply with the following requirements:
The load should be 1.1 times the rated lifting capacity; each mechanism should be sensitive, balanced and reliable and the safety devices are qualified.
